Brand and Logo Restyling

Ecomuseo Villa Ficana is an evolving museum sponsored by a group of associations in Macerata (Italy). Villa Ficana is a well-preserved, 19th century, village of clay houses situated in an urban area of the city of Macerata.

Ecomuseo Villa Ficana, is largely operated by a volunteer workforce, who continue to preserve the cottages, promote the museum and when acting as guides explain the constructional techniques to visitors. Ecomuseo Villa Ficana contributes significantly to the cultural events of Macerata. (www.ecomuseoficana.it)

The initial version of logo was created by a volunteer. The image was already well recognised and widely accepted locally so the aim was to create a design, strongly based on it. The work consisted of redesigning the logo and defining some of the publicity material like flyers, brochure, business card, branding elements (board game, shopping bag), etc.

A new logo was introduced in February 2017.
